Telescopic Tubular Handle. This means that the Fire Beater be carried in any average size saloon car or in any small van. The overall length of the Beater with the handle fully closed is less than 1.5 M when fitted with a 300 x 450 mm Beater Head. The handle length when fully extended is 1.76 M. The Beater head is made from 7 or 8 mm thick quality Conveyor Belting Rubber.

With the Aluminium Alloy Handle and the thinner material

means that the Beater is much lighter in use than a conventional firebeater.

Chieftain Forge can also supply Firebeaters fitted with 6’ x 1.1/4” dia. or

8’ x 1.1/4” dia. Handles. Beater Heads can be supplied in a choice of 3 sizes 15” x 12”, 18” x 12” or 24” x 12”. The Standard Stock Size is 18” x 12”

Wooden Handles can also be pressure treated if the Firebeaters are to be stored outside. The minimum order for this is 100.
