CarAd (All the website you need for £450) Microman Computer Support has developed CarAd to fill a gap in the Web Site market. Many small to medium car dealers could benefit from having a Web Site to advertise stock and tell customers a bit about the garage. This can be done for just a few hundred pounds and need not cost anything more to run for the first year. Subsequent years are likely to cost no more than £50. For the price of a one week ad in the local paper you could be on the Internet for a year. Updated pictures and descriptions can be loaded at no cost on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. This allows customers to contact your garage by email and gives the impression of being a much bigger and more technology equipped garage than you may actually be.
Microman developed the CarTrack system to help small to medium size car dealerships to track their customer base and maximise profit potential. The Microman CarTrack system is based on customers rather than cars, and is particularly suited to car sales operations with repeat customers and traders. The system produces a wide range of reports as well as dealing with invoicing and vehicle tracing.
This is a simple to operate diary system to track vehicles which have been subject of an MOT Test, either at your garage or as a result of preparation by you. The system will prompt you after 11 months to contact the vehicle keeper, and remind them that the annual test is almost due. This is no guarantee of income but it will provide a little bit of customer care. The advantage of using this system instead of a paper diary is that once the details are typed in, the system will produce letters as required. MOT Diary can be expanded for other tasks such as fire equipment and other health & safety reminders, but is primarily intended as a method of contacting customers to advise of MOT and annual servicing dates. No project is too large, or too small. For rapid personal service and dedicated analysis of your IT support needs, contact Tom McNulty at Microman Computer Support on 01506 634054 or E-mail Microman |
